OUR STORY

For me, real estate is more than just 4 walls, a roof and a floor. It is a foundation for much, much more.

My passion for real estate comes from a story that my godmother told me when I was younger. When I was born, as she looked through the window in the hospital’s nursery, she overhead a young father tell the following story, as he looked upon his newborn daughter.

In broken English (Italian or Greek maybe), he said:

​

Now I go and buy a house; a two family house. I rent the house to other families so that they have a safe place to live and raise their children. 

​

As my newborn becomes a child, an adolescent, a teenager, the rent pays for the house, the maintenance, the taxes, the insurance…

​

…and any profit we make, we do not spend, we put it away and save it for her future.

When she finishes high school, it pays for her college, so she can have an education.   

​

When she gets married, it pays for her wedding. 

​

Once she is married, the house is hers to live in and raise her family…

​

I found this story to be both inspiring and eye-opening. It shows that real estate is more than bricks and mortar, wood and nails. Its where we live, establish memories, start a family and build the foundation of our life.
